My Grandma

Our drive to St. George for grandma's funeral

lil Huzzy Bear

Dad

Beautiful scenery

all of her grandkids minus Nicole's and Alysha's kids and a few missing
in the background of this picture.

This is a picture I promised to give grandma and never did.
I thought it was so sweet. Chase really did like to be around her.

Chase and Grandma

As I'm always saying...life goes quickly by. For my kids sake I just wish it would stop every once in a while. We were watching home videos yesterday and everytime I watch one I get sucked in...remembering every detail of those moments. Time just escapes...
This past week was one of those times were I asked this same question.
My grandma passed away at almost 93. She was so healthy and strong. I hope I can live the rest of my life taking care of my body like she did. Til the day before she broke her hip she was exercising. I will miss my grandma. And, so will my kids. Chase had a special connection with her. At her funeral he kept saying...tell them to open that box..I want to see great grandma. Once they did he kept wanting to go up and see her.
He won't remember her..but I will remember. And, I'll be able to tell him and Mallory all about her.

I wish I had pictures like that. We would always forget to take out the camera. It just reminds me we need to more often when the kids are with their grandparents. I still get sad when I think about her being gone.

I am so sorry to hear about your Grandma. I know how it feels to miss a grandma. My Grandma Veater died last year on June 17th. I am just glad that my kids are old enough that they do have some memories of her.
