Last weekend we went to Yuma Arizona for a race. Really, it was in the middle of nowhere. But, that was ok because the whole familia was there. Scott called it a vacation, I guess because we took the 5th wheel. I don't classify bike races as family vacations. But, whatever.
The race was a two day stage race. The first race being a crit. Scott's teammate Craig took first place. The next day an 85 mile road race I saw it with my own eyes..Scott took First place. I almost couldn't believe my eyes. I knew he could do it..I had complete confidence in knowing he could do it but this time he really did do it. Definitely with a lot of help from his teammates. But, I had to post the picture of him on the podium. It was an overall race so Scott actually took 3rd. as you will see in the picture. But, he did get a first place finish. Yeahhhhhhhhh
Congratulations Scott
The next picture is Mallory doing the kids race.. She was so excited! She was so excited that JT, Craig and Scott all were there to watch her. She is such a cute girl.
The last picture is Chase in front of a train that we saw. He loves trains although he didn't want to see it up close as you can tell from the look on his face.

Congrats! Wow, I can hardly ride my bike to the closest ice cream shop and back. I think it must be the thin air here. LOL!
Nice job Scott. Did Mallory win first place? I wonder if Chase would like that train museum.
That's awesome, Scott!! Mallory looks so dang cute on her little bike!
congrats scott. I see that the racing runs in the veins of your kids too:)
Way to go. Finally all that riding has paid off. Now I will be expecting him to win everytime. When is Mallory going to take off the training wheels? I would have expected by now that even Chase could be riding a bike. Are you guys coming to a race anytime soon in Las Vegas? It would be fun to see you.
